“My favorite aspects of yoga, movement, and mindfulness are their accessibility to anyone at any time. As a teacher, my goal is to help you determine how these practices best serve you at this point in your life, and provide tools and guidance to help you experience personal understanding and growth.” Cathy Burke, E-RYT holds a degree in Nutrition and Wellness, is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She works with adults and children in homes, schools and studios throughout Northern VA. An advocate and teacher of personal health, she provides a variety of classes that truly encourage the student to explore his or her own limits and work towards understanding and exceeding them, both on and off the mat. Amid the demands placed on us in today’s society, Cathy aims to provide her students with an oasis where understanding, healing and growth can take place. Above all, she invites each student to have fun and challenges them to be amazed by their own abilities!
