Movement & Mindfulness Teacher

Christina is very excited to join the staff and students at The Sycamore School.
She enjoys pairing her athletic interests in soccer, paddling, and cycling with the stretching, strengthening, breathing, and balance yoga and mindfulness practices offer. Following the principle that each individual has his/her own idiosyncratic set of expectations and circumstances, she focuses on building each student up from wherever they are on a particular day. She watches students carefully to see where they are – and modifies the teaching plan depending on who needs a little more challenge and who needs to not challenge so much. Her experience includes more than 1,500 hours of hands-on teaching as well as the knowledge gained from raising three children right here in Arlington.
