Scholarships & Financial Aid

TSS is proud to have the lowest tuition of any independent school in the Washington, DC area. We strive to maintain an affordable tuition to make TSS accessible to as many students as possible. Despite this, the tuition can still be out of reach for many families. To make TSS accessible to as many families as possible, TSS offers need-based scholarships and financial aid.

Once a student is accepted to TSS, the family can choose to apply for need-based financial aid. Eligibility is determined after the parents complete a financial aid application using a third party software platform called FAST. We are proud to share that in the upcoming 2021-22 school year over 30% of our students will receive some form of need-based financial aid or scholarships. Please apply early if you are interested in need-based financial aid.
