Joan L. Green, MA CCC-SLP is a nationally known speech-language pathologist, technology specialist, author, presenter and mother of 4 young adults. After receiving her formal education at Northwestern University, she has spent the past 30+ years helping others in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools and in their own homes. Over 25 years ago, Joan created Innovative Speech Therapy, a private practice in the Washington, DC area with a mission to help children as well as adults who have neurogenic and developmental communication, cognitive, literacy, productivity and learning challenges. She provides unique therapy, consultation and training programs using affordable cutting-edge technologies.
Joan specializes in integrating everyday computer, tablets and mobile phones into engaging activities to promote communication, literacy and learning. She offers local and online technology-based training, consultation and coaching for professionals, schools, rehabilitation and educational programs and families.
