We’ll be going through the steps to applying for college including navigating different on-line platforms such as SCOIR, College Board, the Common App, and the MTC transcript; how to write a strong essay, and getting letters of recommendation.

Spotlight: Leadership Initiatives Info Meeting

The Sycamore School has partnered with the Leadership Initiatives Program to provide summer internship opportunities for our students in a variety of areas including law, business, medicine & public health, neuroscience, national security, and cyber security. An interest meeting is being held next Thursday evening where you can learn more about the program. I encourage both middle school and high school parents and students to attend. Several of our TSS students have attended the Leadership Initiatives summer internships in the past and it’s been a wonderful experience. One unique quality of the program is that students are working on real cases versus simulations, which directly benefit underserved communities. The internship program also offers several perks, such as free college essay writing support, ACT/SAT prep, and other college application support.
