This award-winning documentary is the result of hundreds of interviews of women across America by the filmmakers Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson. The documentary finds among all these personal accounts, there are universal truths about the pressures of being a girl and that those pressures can take a toll on our relationships with other women. By entering school hallways and talking with hundreds of students, Lauren and Molly learn how bullying is evolving and the life-threatening impact it can have. The journey is sprinkled with hysterical moments as they attempt to conquer the road and everything America has to offer. Representatives from several local colleges will discuss their application process and a school consultant will share his experience working with students and families navigating the college application process. More Than Sad: Suicide Prevention Education for Parents
