Anger Overload: How you can help your child take charge of his or her anger

Description: In my work with children and teens, I have developed three main approaches that help children learn skills in order to take control their anger. In this presentation, I will focus on these strategies, including practical hands-on approaches that you can practice with your child at home. My goal is to help children and teens learn to better manage feelings of anger, and develop greater emotion regulation more broadly. You will leave this presentation with new insight, understanding, and most importantly, strategies to help your child take charge of his or her anger and regain control of his or her behavior. Speaker Bio Dr. Gottlieb is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her B.A. in psychology, with a minor in neurobiology, from Harvard University, and her Psy.D. from George Washington University.
