TSS In-Person Parent Information Session
The Sycamore School 1550 Wilson Blvd., Suite 300, Arlington, VA, United StatesDuring this in-person information session, you’ll learn more about TSS including our mastery-based learning model, the students we serve, and social-emotional skill building. This session will be led by our head of school and you’ll also hear from TSS students, parents, and staff. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. At the end of the information session, we’ll take families on a tour of our new facility.

TSS Senior Capstone Project: Industrial Democracy and You

Inspired by the rising cost of living, widespread workplace misconduct and malpractice, another way forward for meeting workers' needs, has to be explored. In a jargon free and simple pamphlet we seek to inform the average worker, and empower them to unionize to create a worker driven future.

Raising A Kid Who Can – Book Talk & Discussion
The Sycamore School 1550 Wilson Blvd., Suite 300, Arlington, VA, United StatesHeather Tedesco will be leading a book talk with TSS parents discussing her new book Raising A Kid Who Can. Dr. Tedesco wrote this book with fellow clinicians Dr. Catherine McCarthy and Jennifer Weaver, LCSW. All three mental health professionals are from the DMV. The book is designed as an accessible guide to parents on how to best support their children in their social emotional growth.
