Aniyah Syl 

Aniyah is excited to join The Sycamore School as a new STEM teacher! She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from George Mason University. Previous experience includes the Bonner Leadership Internship at the Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning at George Mason University, and a STEM Facilitator at the Children’s Science Center with a focus on hands-on learning and leading field trips. Her passion for education stems from assisting her younger siblings with their homework as neurodivergent students during the Covid pandemic. Her favorite fact about the brain is that it develops from the bottom to the top and from the back to the front. In her free time, she enjoys baking desserts and growing new plants!
