The What? Now What? and So What? continues to haunt and disturb social justice advocates who operate within or partner with institutions. This session is designed to spark curiosity, foster dialogue, and present a clear understanding of the individual and organizational challenges of racial healing and collaborative decision-making. TSS Senior Capstone Project: Art & Dissent presented by Lydia Davenport
Description: A presentation on art and dissent and how they aren’t mutually exclusive. The objective is to get people to think more critically about the art they consume and understand that you can enjoy a piece while also knowing that there are things wrong with it. The Anti-Back to School Night: TSS’s Community Meeting for Middle School
TSS Blackbox 4600 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 300, Arlington, VA, United StatesWe’ll start with an overview of Mastery-based learning. Then, you’ll hear from your child’s experience teachers, math teachers, Movement & Mindfulness staff, and a sampling of electives staff. They will share how they implement mastery-based learning into their classes. I’m hopeful that this will give some insight into what your child is working on and how learning at TSS is fundamentally different. There will be time at the end for some Q&A. RSVP Below
